having chronic EBV (for me, it's been 12 years) was enough of a problem. then, starting about 4 years ago, one of my tonsils persisted in staying swollen/enlarged. now, a recent MRI this summer for an unrelated issue showed that my adenoids are blocking 75% of my airway. in the past 3 months, my breast lymph nodes have been swollen as well, enlarging my breasts as a whole.
throughout these past 4 years, i've had intermittent night sweats/chills, low grade fevers, feelings of malaise/aches and fatigue, dizziness, and most recently (in the past year or so) itchiness. for a while i chalked it up to chronic mono (EBV infection), but now i'm not so sure.
recently doing some research online, i found that because of these things i might be at increased risk for lymphoma. does this match anyone else's experience?
should i be concerned, or am i just being a hypochondriac? i am going to see my new primary on the 18th, and hopefully he will help me figure this out or at least send me to a specialist.
if he does send me to a specialist, what can i expect?
thanks for your help
