Does anyone else experience pain and swelling around the belly button after having surgery one year ago? Any suggestions how to eliminate it?

Apparently from what I have experienced and what I have read, Any plastic surgery, especially a procedure that "lift skin" will have residual sensations in that area. One can feel numbness, muscle twitching, soreness around certain areas, i.e. belly button. These sensations might go on for several years. I've been post 4 years on facelift and 1&1/2 years on Tummy Tuck. I still have numbness in my cheeks on my face. I experience numbness and at times a little tenderness around my belly button. My stomach is still completely numb in certain areas. My Plastic Surgeon said this is normal.
