At first this drug was very effective, but now it no longer works to lower blood pressure. It has been two years. What is the answer to this inquiry?

Hi Frank,
This maybe a long shot but I had a similar problem with Lebatalol that I had been taking for about 3 yrs. Since I take my b/p everyday, I could pinpoint when my b/p started going back up (of course you have to rule out other causes such as stress etc.)
Anyhow it started when I started a new bottle of pills. I waited two wks & then called the insurance company plus my Dr. & got a new bottle of Lebetalol from a different manufacturer. It worked right away.
Then there is another long shot. You may have seen the shows are drug counterfeiting when people substitute fake pills. You always have to keep that in mind.
That usually happens with the more expensive drugs though.
Have your circumstances changed as regard to stress or have you added other meds or perhaps had a injury & are in pain-something along those lines? Fam
