Hello…. I wanted to ask if eating peanuts daily helps cholesterol? To my understanding they are very heart healthy. Does eating peanuts help raise HDL? I do not know much about peanuts and how they can help but any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Yes they help. check the Framingham study and Nurses study results. Plus they taste good-use unsalted for better health and low bp.:D Use with one or two beers and your HDL will rise and you feel all fuzzy and better.

Peanuts have good fat, will help raise your HDL.
You don't need large quantities, aim for 10 to 15 per day as they are also loaded with calories and they are a great source of proteins.
