I'm 18 years old, I smoke, but not very frequently and I haven't been smoking that long. I recently noticed a tiny black spot on my lower lip, there's no lump, and no pain. It's pretty small, it could've always been there and I didn't even notice it. I've been keeping an eye on it for the last week or so, nothing appears to be happening. I was wondering if I should be concerned about this? I've been very busy at it is finals week.

Hey, just a detail, I think I over reacted when I said it was black. It lighter than black, maybe gray-blue, brown? I don't know, it's really tiny.

Hi, I may have the same thing. Mine is a very small blue-black round mark on my lower lip. I assumed it was from biting my lip but now not sure because its been there a few months. I do have anxiety and grind my teeth and hold a lot of tension in my mouth so maybe I am doing something that causes it. I have an appt for later in January to have it looked at, they were booked until then. I hope someone here responds as I am very nervous about it.
