I have an issue with stomach ulcers. I recently started taking the One-A-Day Men's vitamin but I had to quit because it was too rough on my stomach. I called them and they suggested I switch over to the Flintstones children's vitamin. That one bothered my stomach also.
Does anyone here take vitamins and have issues with stomach ulcers? Do you know of any vitamins that are easy on the stomach, or any without folic acid? The reason I ask is that I can feel definite benefit from these vitamins. I'm just looking for something I can handle.

You could try one of the New Chapter brand of vitamins for men. Vitamin Shoppe Organics is the same thing too (they license it from New Chapter). It's a type of nutritional yeast, in capsule form. Since it's actually food, it generally causes no stomach problems and can be taken with a meal, or without.

I have a stupid question, Dan. You take these vitamins after breakfast, right? Not before? Before is bad on the stomach.

I took the first one on an empty stomach. After talking to them, they told me to take them after meals. It was still uncomfortable.
