View Full Version : Omega-3 and Anti-Depressants

I've been on 75 mg of Zoloft for years for OCD but recently have been going through some fairly severe depression. My doctor recently suggested that I increase my Zoloft dose to 100 mg and I am prepared to do so, however, I have also started taking an Omega-3 suppliment, as I have heard that this can also help depression. Since both Omega-3 and Zoloft effect seratonin, I'm wondering if it will be safe to increase my Zoloft dose amount at the same time that I have started taking Omega-3, as I'm worried that I possibly could go from too little seratonin in the brain to too much.
