I have been on bc for a few months now, and i have been pretty good about taking it at the same??? time everyday. However, i was just wondering what is actually considered the [I]SAME[I] time? i mean is it within the same hour, or what? any advice would be appreciated

I aim to take it within an hour, I usually take it within minuets because I use an alarm but, with a combined pill I think you have like a four hour window of time, but I'm not sure because I've heard everything from 1 hour to 12 hours. I think keeping it within the same hour or two is pretty safe.

between 1-4 hours is safe for most pills...the progestrone only pills are meant to be taken within 2 hours of the same time each day...but estrogen pills, the regular ones, can go up to 4 hours.

I agree.... if you have combined pills (you can find this out on the packaging or online), you usually have a 3-4 hour window. Of course if you take it EARLIER and continue to do so, I'm sure that is safer than later. Progestin only pills are recommended to take VERY close to the same time, so I guess as close as you can get. I remember an article saying try to take it within 30 minutes- 1 hour of your usual time.
