I was always irritable when I was younger & raising family. You need some time just for you to relax & forget about everyone else. You need to be pampered for awhile. You work so much it's seems you don't have time for anything else. Holidays are stressful for me also. I wish I had some answers. Maybe someone else can help. Try to relax more.

Hi,
I use to be a little like that and have read that some of the
epilepsy medicines can cause it,I really had problems smiling,
my new doctor then put me on Lorazepam only 0.5 mg. and it
had done wonders for my personality even my family has said
that they have noticed a BIG difference in me.Lorazepam is a
seizure med. and can also be used for anxiety.
Take care,Sherri

Sorry to hear you are feeling this way. It reminds me of my 11 yr old daughter who has just recently started taking clobazam. I find we all have to tip toe around her otherwise she will bite your head off for just looking at her the wrong way. I guess before she started taking the med, she was still irritable, what 11 yr old isnt, but the last three weeks have been hell. She is almost unbearable.
I really do think it has something to do with the medications....

I here you. I'm the same way and while I was on Topamax, I was on Lorazapam. i"m now on Keppra which unlike Topamax doesn't make me talk like I'm mentally handicapped, it makes me very moody. Lorazapam was no longer working. He switched me to Xanax and I've noticed a big difference. Sometimes I think it's all a combo of what meds you're on and your body chemistry.
Dont' give up.
Dont' give up.
