Mike,
I would not take Vytorin 10/40 with red yeast rice because your vytorin contains 40 mg of Zocor/simvastatin (which is a large dose) plus the red yeast rice is a naturally occuring statin. This would be too much (in my opinion) and would you would be running a greater risk of side effects (esp. muscle and liver concerns).
