Hello to all,
I has surgery in march and became addicted to Pain killers..
I have now been off them and clean for 6 weeks.. yeah for me.. but heres the thing.
when I was using them I gained about 15 lbs... unlike most addicts I gained weight.. go figure.. but
over the last 6 weeks I've been addicited to food.. I know what Iam doing . Iam filling a void.. and I've put on anouther 10 lbs.. thats a lot of wieght in a matter of months..
well today me and my family started a diet {Iam sorry "a way of life change"}but you know what I mean.. and Iam jounaling.. and its hard.. I've not caved in but I find myself counting the minutes just like when I was on pain killers.. it is so hard...

so I will keep you all posted... instead of one day at a time .. its on hour at a time... give it over to the Higher power is what they teach you in aa and na, so Iam appl,ying it to food..
