I currently have a thrombophlebitis on my shin. But i am now covered in both spider veins and varicous veins. Does this mean anything.
I mean my whole legs are covered from top to bottom. especially the backs of my knees. this has only come on in the last 2 years, but in the last 6 months the spider veins have trebled. I have varicous veins starting to protrude also. I have noticed that i have a large vein showing on my arm, also on my shoulder and chest. Does this mean something. I notice also the ones on my legs are starting to look like bruising, but the bruising does not dissapear, its always there. I know my platelets are normal. what does this mean.

Well ...it means you need to go to the doctor and see what is going on.

I have had spider veins in my legs for years, and they do get worse if you don't get them treated. But it isn't normal for them to get worse as fast as what you describe. If you haven't already gone to a doctor about this, you should go without delay.
