I have a son that is 9 years old and I have noticed a small painless swollen lymph node on his left hand. I would say it is definately less than an inch, but i dont't know the exact measurement. It is movable and not hard but not squishy neither. I have noticed this for about a month and his pediatrician says it is nothing, but it is really starting to worry me. Any answer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'd have to side with the pediatrician on this one... I have gotten these my whole life and am still alive and kicking at the ripe old age of 37. :) Never had one on the hand, though.

Could be a bakers cyst?
