Good morning everyone,
Have any of you used any supplements for migraines that actually work? I think I remember reading that feverfew helps. Has anyone tried it?
Thanks for your help.

coq10, feverfew, and 1000mg of magnesium citrate has nearly eliminated my once horrible migraines. I swear by this.

I have heard of feverfew helping. Something else I heard years ago is that people who were deficient in certain amino acids would have a better chance at getting and keeping migrains... Wish I could give you more info on it.. But I just ran across that article while looking for something else and just skimed over it..

Headache TakeCare by newchapter organics and homeopathic combinations are very helpful. My mom gets them alot, how does the headache start? (side of head, front, all-over, etc). Many foods can trigger them, I suggest reading Prescription for Nutritional Healing, look under Migraines....very useful info.

yes migrains are not a very pleasant thing at all. I used to get the odd one a year but since November 07 when I learnt my sister had cancer they started to come all the time. I belive mine are stress related. I went to see my natropath who manipulated my neck as he said it was very very tight and that I was lacking in magnesium and minerals. I am now on these to try and control them. No one knows till they suffer with migrains just how bad they are and the last I had (which was last week) I had them for 4 days. Hopefully now with the supplements and having my neck done they will ease up. coffee, sour cream , chocolate, white wine, oranges and citrus juices dont help either. But mainly the stress is the cause so am looking at relaxing tapes, and plenty of walking. But look at magnesium and minerals could be worth while.

I've heard people swear by Feverfew, Vit B5 riboflavin, and cayenne pepper capsules. I can't say they ever worked for me.
