Several years ago, Dr John Farella performed a plastic surgery procedure on my lower eye lids to remove the unsightly 'bags'. He assured me that after surgery my eyes would be bag free. Although there was improvement, I still saw a potential problem. Dr. Farella agreed to redo the procedure. During the ensuing surgery I awakened to hear him tell his anesthesiologist he did not understand why he had to redo the original procedures. He even had the balls to charge me for the additional surgery. After the second surgery, I discovered he had overlooked removing a stitch and it had become infected. It has been several years now and am faced with corrective surgery to fix what he failed miserably to do. I would never recommend Dr. Farella to anyone. It cost me close to $5,000.00 for a surgery that I now have to have redone. A decision made after confirming my suspicions and cooberated by a prominent plastic surgeon who is department head at one of the major N.Y. Hospitals.
