i was diagnosed with chlamydia about a month ago and have done a week of doxy, 2 grams of zithromax, and a week of levaquin. still it burns while peeing and still some minor discharge. my doc said that it would be unreal for me to still have chlamydia due to the amount of antibiotics i took. anyone have similar experiences?? i have mono too so my immune system is weaker but still i heard it wouln't matter. So if someone could give me any sort of feedback it would help and mean a lot. i seriously am so lost and confused.:(

Could the doctor do the chlamydia test again?

Maybe they could do a culture and run a sensitivity test to find out exactly what is biting you and what antibiotics would kill it the most effectively?

Might be you just have some sort of post-infection thing going on?

If you know how you got it, might want to ask that person how they got rid of it.

Good luck!

this is my new name, i got banned on my other one, but i am tryin to get in with a urologist to see what he has to say. the girl i got it from says she was givin zithromax but hasnt been tested again to see if she still has it. i just got another urinalisis done to see if any other bacteria could be causing this. hopefully they can find something to work because this is getting very frustrating. i will def ask my doc to run tests to see what could kill it. i heard of something where they take it to a lab and try all sorts of antibiotics to see if any of them kill it. hopefully i can get this resolved soon. but is there anyway that this may not go away at all???/ that is what is freaking me out!!!!
