if your on the pill and you take it correctly then you don't oveulate. Thats how the pill prevents pregnancy. you probably were just spotting. the only thing you can do is wait until your period is supposed to come and if it does not come take a pregnancy test. if you did not miss any pills this month then it is very unlikely that you are pregnant.

i use YAZ and i've been on it for over a year and never had a problem with spotting or break through bleeding but me & my boyfriend had sex the other day on my ovulation day and the next day i had slight brown discharge followed by some blood and then later on more discharge. does that mean i'm pregnant?

if your on the pill and you take it correctly then you don't oveulate. Thats how the pill prevents pregnancy.Actually, ovulation does still happen in a lot of women. That's only one of the ways the pill tries to prevent pregnancy. It does other stuff too that works against conception so even if you ovulate, it should still work.

As for your spotting, it could be implantation bleeding but that usually take a few days, not the next day. Wait til your normal period is late before worrying about it. Then you can take a test. If you've been taking your pills properly, then I'd be more inclined to think it was just mid-cycle spotting rather than a pregnancy. Good luck.

yeah my bad sometimes you can oveulate on the pill more so if your on a POP but the point is most women don't have a regular monthy oveulation cycle when on the pill, once in a while ecape oveulation can happen but there is no oveulation day or really any way to track oveulation on birth control. like before I was on it I could tell when I oveulated from taking my temp and checking cervical mucous, on the pill I dont have the changes in cervical muccous and my temps are never trackable so I can't tell if I'm oveulating so I am probably one of the many women who don't oveulate on the pill. One of the reasons the combination pills are more effective than the POP's is because they do surpress oveulation in most women, so anyway if you took your pill propperly and are not likely pregnant.
