Is calcium carbonate 600mg with vit D any better or worse than 600mg calcium citrate with vit D for proper absorbtion?

Calcium citrate is better absorbed than calcium carbonate.

Leea's right. You should also be supplementing with magnesium if you're taking calcium. 200mg should be fine. I take magnesium citrate, which is also easily absorbable and doesn't seem to cause any stomach problems for me.
