Hi:
I am 54 and currently working for a company in Charlotte, NC. I will be going through some surgery soon that may prevent me from doing my job in the future. I am insured by Cigna of North Carolina an HMO. I am thinking about changing carriers and would be looking for a job in central Florida. I know I will be able to get CORBRA but since I have a HMO that only covers doctors in the Charlotte area can Cigna or will Cigna put me into an HMO in central Florida? Does anyone know how this works?
Thanks,
Domenick

Hi Domenick,
I live in RI and also have Cigna, and I have a friend in CT that has it. I'm pretty sure they're very widespread, but you can check their website. They have a provider search area and customer service. They also have phone numbers to call for questions.
Hope this helps...Good luck with your surgery.
