My BP is usually around 126/67, but I have been taking Aleve for three weeks for knee pain and when I took my BP yesterday it shot up to 140/83. I did research and read that Aleve narrows blood vessels while it's in the bloodstream. I've decided to stop taking Aleve because I don't need to be on high blood pressure drugs due to side effects from a pain reliever.

Do all anti-inflammatory meds like Aleve increase blood pressure?

Thanks.

Aleve is naproxin, so watch your blood pressure. I posted on your thread that Advil can raise blood pressure also, maybe your son's blood pressure is being raised by Advil.
