View Full Version : w/c insurance wants to pay me out of insurance for life

has anyone every gone through this and have any suggestions? 61/2 yrs ago I was injured on the job. settlement includes life long insurance with the w/c. now w/c insurance want to pay me out of the life long insurance. ive had a fusion surgery and have neck problems and other back problems and they have presented to me this new issue. has anyone here gone through any of this or have advise? thanks

Don't do it. You make them keep paying all your lifetime medical.

I agree with the above post! They're just trying to get off easy...DON'T LET THEM!!! It will be much harder for you to get other insurance with your current medical problems.

thanks for all your replys I have found out that NO one will insure me because of my previous injury and the problems I still have and the insurance keeps saying that "Oh, you can just pay for it yourself with what ever we settle with you with' an im like right you coudn't give me enough money to do that with they were amazed that i found out about the rise in health care and the cost is suppose to rise in my state of tenn.50-60 percent in the next 5 yrs. not including the precriptions cost going up 20-30 percent inthe next 3 yrs, they hate me knowing that. But, I appreciate your comments. thanks
