Hi all,

From the reading I have done it seems that AWAKE fiberoptic-aided intubation is recommended or required for surgical patients with closed lock/"difficult airways." But I can't find any posts about this on the forum.

Could those who have undergone surgery (e.g. arthroscopy or other) with closed lock conditions please post about their experiences in this regard? Is this how general anasthesia was provided? And if so, what was your experience with the procedure? (It sounds unpleasant.)

Thanks!
