All Hoodia does is remove your appetite. They make the idea of food as a take it or leave it proposition. You do not get that starving sensation.
Hoodia was used by a couple of African tribes for centuries when they had to make long journeys and were not sure about food availability. The British colonists noticed the Natives using the stem of this Cactus plant and took the information back to England.
It is difficult to find quality sources of Holodia because the entire plant is not effective, just the stems. Most of the Hoodia on the market today uses alll of the plant, and there are labs trying to synthesise it, so far with no reliablwe results.
You will have to find a source that works for you, but once you locate it stick with it.

Add some excercise the weight loss will really increase. Cardio types of excercise, such as brisk walking, running, riding a bike, etc. not only burns calories but increases your metabolism. Be sure to do whatever you do, for at least 20 minutes straight because that is when your body starts to burn fat. Strength training builids muscle which burns fat faster and also increases your metabolism. I lost 27 pounds since spring mostly by just joining a gym and going faithfully four to five times per week. Be careful with cutting back too much on your calories. I know it sounds strange, but that can actually back fire on you by slowing down your metabolism after awhile and decreasing or even halting your weight loss.
