Ok.. I'm a little out of shape.... Sorry, MAJOR out of shape. Although I'm not extremely overweight (170lb and 5'4) I'm pretty much your average size 12 couch potato.
Yesterday, I had to catch a connecting flight in a HUGE airport, and I had to run (full out sprint) for 20 minutes straight to get to the gate on time.
When we got there (Hubby trailing behind me) and got on the plane, I could not catch my breathe, and I got sick and vomited.
Today, I'm wheezing when I take deep breaths, and occasionally have a dry chest cough that is high pitched. I didn't have a cough at all or any problems before this run.
My brothers (who are Marathoners) and my Hubby (Who used to run track), all said that it's probably just that I over did myself, and maybe irritaed by lungs or bronchial tubes or whatever.... I'm nervous that it's asthma, or something worse.
I can breath fine, it's just when I take a deep breathe that I hear the wheezing and feel it in my chest.
Anyone have any kind words of advise? I just don't want to go to the Doctor and take time off from work if it's nothing.
