Hi. I'm a nursing student and I've been very interested in the disease, Porphyria. I found some cases where Gulf war veterans (as well as Vietnam veterans) have been diagnosed with the disease, or not diagnosed. I am doing research on this topic for the Canadian Porphyria Foundation. There are many places on the web to look up this disease if some of you don't know what it is. It's very hard to diagnose, and many doctors don't even know about it. It also mimics many others illnesses, leaving it misdiagnosed. I hope some of you have some comments on this topic.
