I am new, my first post. I have had dry eyes for about 10 years, started during menopause. It got so bad that I gave up wearing any makeup and needed to use drops throughout the day which gave me only 10 seconds of relief. If I wear makeup I get tiny blisters under my eyelids or on the edges. My eye doctor suggested tear duct plugs. Anyone have these?

I had some put in last year. They really did not work but I know some people who have had relief.

It is minor and not painful...give it a try.

Punctal plugs may solve your problem. I would see my optometrist and ask to try some collagen plugs. These are plugs that are not permanent and dissapate after a few days. If you find these help with your dry eyes you can then pursue permanent plugs.
