last night i got a weird headache in the back of my head when i bend down i would feel a shooting pain in the back of my head..... i s this a tmj head ache usually i get the one where you feel like some one hit you with a baseball bat behind your head ..... this one was diffrent i felt it when i bend down ...........thank God i feel better this morning ..........just wondering if this is one of tmj many diffrent headache

I've never had this happen to me, but it's possible that the way you moved your body when you bent down pulled at some muscles in such a way to cause you pain. All of the muscles in the body are connected; sometimes when I wake up in the morning with TMJ pain (in my jaw and in my head) I also have muscle pain on the backs of my upper thighs! Maybe keep an eye on it and if it keeps happening, you might want to check with your doctor or dentist about it.

I have TMJ and sometimes get a headache when I bend down. Faith, did you have any success seeing Dr. Syrop? I am thinking about going up to New York City to see him because I have heard good things.
