I was diagnosed with Gulf War Syndrome by 3 different doctors in 3 different places, because I wanted to be sure they were not ready the records of other doctors and just agreeing with them. Well all 3 came up with the same diagnose. I have Gulf War Syndrome and have had it going on 6 years now. I have the headaches, leg pains, sleeping disorder, stomach problems and more adding to it what seems to be daily. What I am getting to is I was not in the Gulf War or any other war. I received this illness because it is contagious. I went to a retirement party of my cousin and this is what I got in return for going. It is sad becasue the government does not even consider it anything to those who are in the military or veterans, but cilivians are getting the same treatment. Are there any others out here who caught it by someone else?

While searching the web I have seen several other people saying the same thing, and a couple of news articles about what you are talking about. The information some of the websites talk about is Mycroplasma infection transfered through causal contact, but research in this area has yet to bear fruit as far as I can tell. Try doing a search of the famous new agency cable channel there are a couple of 1997 and 1998 reports there that might give some info.

Thank you for that information I will check into it...I know of a doctor in Texad that his daughter came down with it, but she was in the gulf war. So he did some research on her and others, but is only working with those who were veterans. Maybe this research will turn something up for me. Thank you.
