well...I haven't been on the boards in a long time. I went in to remission from stage 3 cervical cancer in june and in october I was shocked to feel a lump in my vaginal area.. Went that day to see my oncologist . did biopsy and sure enough my cancer had reared its ugly head once more.. On October 6th I had a 9 hour surgery to remove the tumor from a not so nice place.. Had a radical vulvectomy.. I am now in my 3rd week of radiation and have 5 weeks to go. I am very swollen and sore from the rad. and have difficulty walking.. it's only going to get worst, so I am told.. The thing is.....I'm still waking up every morning and that is what keeps me going. I will suffer through as long as I know I am gonna wake up everyday. the pain reminds me I am still here.. anyway.. hope everyone has a safe and healthy holiday.. Mary

Dear LCG,
Thank you..Things have been very difficult, but I only have 8 treatments left and then a 2 month break..hopefully the surgery and radiation worked and the nightmare will be over. So, thank you again for the support..It' means so much. Hope the new year brings you good health and happiness!! Mary
