My daughter has really bad allergies. Her eyes have been kinda matted these past few days. The preschool thought at first it was pink-eye. It was from the allergies.
Well, this morning she woke up with her eye hurting. She has a sty.
Is there anything I can do to help it go away?

Warm compresses a couple of times a day. Just that usually does the trick and the warmth opens the gland and helps it drain. Make sure not to press hard or try to squeeze it. You could also try taking a cotton swab with a mild soap and water and try the clean the area. This will help kill any bacteria. You should see improvement in a day or two, if not you might have to bring her into the doctor and have it treated. Good luck. I hope she is better soon:angel:

Wash her eye with a bit of baby shampoo (easier on the eye). Sties can be cause from plugged oil glands and the soap helps the situation. It works like a charm for us.

Thank you so much.
I will try both and see what happens.
