I recently tested positive for Human papillomavirus at a routine smear. I received laser treatment to my cervix and had a follow up smear 4 months later. The results of the second smear was that there was still a very small amount of the virus present. Now I am pregant and was wondering if this virus poses any threat to my baby either during pregnany or childbirth?
