hi there. I am an 18 yr old female ..i have recently been in hospital with very uncomfortable ectopic heartbeats, i have previously suffered from terrible feelings of being light in the head, however i have been for a brain scan and that came back clear.While i was in hospital i went through several tests, i had an ECG, an ECHO, Blood tests and wore a holter moniter for 48 hours.the doctors said that i had an ectopic beat or "skipped beat" but it should be of no harm!...However, i am now suffering with a terrible chest pain in the centre of my chest, i have went back to the doctor with this pain, where he did another ECG and blood tests..i also had a chest X ray. The doctors said that my heart looks fine but i am still suffering with a terrible cest pain??...Would the ECG have noticed if there was something major wrong with my heart??...Should i stop worring??...Could the doctors have missed something?..and if not, what else would cause such a pain?..
