YES! That's quite low. Is your blood pressure like this on a consistent basis?

I use to have really normal blood pressure, like 100/85 or something, but not anymore. Sometimes if I've been walking around and stuff it'll get normal, but usually its pretty low I guess. (70's-80's/30's-50's) I was put into the hospital, and it remained real low like that the whole time. I'd feel real dizzy and stuff. My body temperature was also in the 95's and 96's. But I think I'm getting that under control. Is it okay for my blood pressure to be low like that? Is there anything I can do?

Thyroid checked for Hypo/hyperthyroidism. Have your doc evaluate your low blood pressure to be sure there is no medical cause for it. What does your blood pressure usually run when you have your yearly physical? This would be a good indicator if this is a new problem or something you have had for a while.

my daughter is having the same problem. had the thyroid checked and everything else. we had her checked for addisons disease on monday, should know tomorrow. she is cold, has low bp, wants salt with everything, aches in her joints, has all the symptoms.

how did you get your bp checked? was it a home monitor or was it done at a doctor's office? alot of home monitors' accuracy depends on the cuff size and if you have a small arm it could get false readings. double check your bp to make sure. never rely on only one reading as the sole reading.

tc128 - it's been checked several different times. in the hospital and in the doctor's office. its the same thing pretty much everytime. most recent time it was 83/50 (something close anyway). not to mention...they can never feel my pulse in my wrist. they have to listen to my heart to get my pulse. not only that, but my pulse is actually VISIBLE in my chest. it's kinda freaky.

i'm 25 years old n got a problem with low blood pressure too, from i was small. normal of my blood pressure is 80/45 with the upper never reach 100. when i was 17 years old, i was told that when my mother is the same age of me,she got the same problem, but a little higher 100/70. became normal in her early twenties. now she is 55, and got the problem with high blood pressure in contrary. the problem is i'm already 25 and still got low blood pressure, and i can do all my activities as normal. never felt dizzy or what. i don't even know i had a low blood pressure till one day i checked it. is there any serious problem with me?
