I was recently diagnosed and treated for HPV vaginal warts (I had them electro-cauterized), and now the warts are gone and it has been nearly 2 months since my last treatment but I am still experiencing pain and swelling and increased white discharge. Is it normal for symptoms like this to appear after the infection has superficially cleared up? I thought maybe i had a yeast infection, but it did not respond to treatment, which makes me wonder if these symptoms are associated with the HPV. Please help!
