Hi
I have had a constant migrain for 2 days now, i have been to the doctor and he did some tests on my eyes as i thought that i had pains behind my eyes but he said they were ok. The doc said that it was a migrian. He also said that i had high blood presure. I am not sure as to what high blood presure is, and what it is caused from. I am only 25yr old. The doc gave me cafergot and normison to take. It sounded not right when he said take 2 cafergot straight away and 1 every 6 hours but not more then 10 in a week. Cafergot has caffine in it??? My diet is good, i don't each chocolate or any sweets, i drink around 6 beers per week and maybe 2 glasses of red wine per week. i eat well, not much salt and rarely have sugars. i don't drink coffee. i take vitamin e & c every day in a tablet. I can feel a beating pulse in my head that is like a hammer pounding. I don't have a fever. please help me with some advice. i did not get the BP rate from my doctor so i don't know how high it is
thank you brett

I too have had AWFUL headaches when my BP was high. I don't know anything about the meds given to you but I do know my headaches stop when my BP goes down. Good Luck!
