10 mg Altace is exactly what I take to reduce my blood pressure. It takes my untreated 170/110 bp down to 110/70.

I have experienced no side effects from this medication. The only time I experienced side effects was when 50mg Toprol XL was combined with it. That resulted in bp of 90/50 + ED.

I am not sure how long it takes to see benefits, perhaps a few days?

I have never noticed a change in feeling from any of my ace inhibitors I have used. Its only been the beta-blockers that have produced some side effects in me.
