:mad:I have had BV for over 2 years when I was pregnant with my now,2 1/2 year old son. I had a HARD time getting rid of it...Lots of Flagyl and Metro... gel,and I treid REPHESH and It went away...Now recently, Im seeming to have Vaginal Issues. Im freaking out, I dont want to ever go through all that BV stuff again, It plays on your mind.Lately, My va jaja has had SOME burning, little itching (but I shave down there) and at night I sweat SO much "down there" Its awful! I dont have any discharge, I dont notice any smell either..whereas I knew It smelled Fishy when I had BV or like a chemical...Now I just notice it smells like sweat.I do still use REPHESH.Im just confused. I dont know if I should start taking Flagyl again,or keep using REPHESH. I have been taking Acidillious daily.Maybe I should start taking AZO YEAST again????

hi dns3x...sorry to hear about your ordeals...well you're pretty much on the right track using rePhresh. by far a lot of BV patients has been relieved by this product...how long have you been using it? can you think of a recent activity that may caused you this episode? sweat is another reason for a ph imbalance down there. give rephresh a little more time to help...;)

Wgats a "recent activity" that may cause BV????? Ive been using Rephesh for a month or so now, again.

so has rephresh halped with the sweating issue? what i meant regarding the recent activity is if you can think of something you did recently that may cause this sweating? like a change in diet or exercising or a change in partner? All of which may change your ph level and may encourage growth of bv or yeast. you mentioned rephresh helped you 2 years ago and your problems down there disappear. somehow you' re pH level may have changed recently. so i hope continued application of rephresh will help. ;)

I dont know, It hasnt really been helping as much I feel. I know my hubby as been going for days without a shower, Im sure that MIGHT have something to do with it, BUT we dont even hardly have sex.(but i sopose all it takes is once) I sweat "down there" alot during the night, and sometimes during the day...IDK. Im fruststed

have you checked with you doc? are you just sweating down there? and not all over your body? may i ask how old are you? sudden sweating may be caused by several factors, stress and menopause included. rephresh helped with the odor but not with the sweating...hmmm...maybe you should pay a visit to your doc. let me know what he/she said...

Im 37, I have had all the menopause tests, NOTHING showed up. I have always been very thin & tiny , until after this child (almost 3) Ive always weighed 110...now im 130...and 5'0.I have alot more fat then Id like,So Im sweating more. Why do you ask??? The OB/GYN just keeps giving me Flaygl,and I use the REPHESH,I find I sleep with my legs shut, So I know that isnt helping any.

this has been going on for how long? Are you taking any contraceptive pills? Normally on your ovulation period, you will really sweat a lot down there because of the increase in the women's core temperature but that is for only a day or two. Sweat can also throw off the pH of the vagina because sweat is basic and our vagina is acidic so it is alright if you use repHresh.

the reason i asked is because night sweats is related to menopause, although yours is just down there right? but thats ruled out already flagyl? isn't that for BV? is the flagyl working? there must be something that you did lately that caused the ph level down there to change...small changes like a change in your bath soap or maybe an exercise regimen can cause the elevated ph leaving you vulnerable to bv. continue with rephresh see how it is after a while.

Im not sure this will help but I can try to offer you a few new ideas that could be the cause of your problem's. The first is do you use Alway's product's? Last time I visited the doctor I was informed that it was discoverd they use a ingredient that some girls are allergic to (including myself) which can cause BV. As for the the night sweats (i also get neusa, throw up, cramps in my legs along with other symtoms) these are cause from hormone surges. Im only 28 and this has been happing for since I was about 25. Your hormones could have changed and so now your over producing which creates these problems. It dosn't hurt you but is a pain. Hope this help's:)

Things were somewhat better, but then they got funky,I got a yellow/brown discharge for 2 days,but I thought maybe it was the rephesh washing away the blood from my period.(I just got over it) I do have my pap on Thursday morning, So I will know more then.I dont think there is much they can do about my sweating. My OB/GYN nurse told me, I will most likely endure BV/YI because I sweat "down there" so much...So I might always have problems. I am continueing using the Rephesh,because It was the only thing that ridded my BV last time.I am not using now though, until after my pap...because it is so white & chunky.Thanks for caring.I will post again after Thursday.

oh yes i have heard of others who used rephresh right after their period and they say its a little messy. but i am really glad it is helping you. good luck on your check up...hope its nothing more than an imbalance in ph.

Hi~I went to OB/GYN today...He said everything LOOKED great, he said he couldnt SEE hardly any discharge at all!!! Ive never had him say that!My results will be in tomorrow...Im still nervous.:):angel:

Well, the OB/GYN never called Friday, so Im guessin everything is ok...Yay!No yeast, and NO BV....WHOOP!!! I must just be sweatin alot. I still take Azo Yeast daily, and Acidillious 2 Billion...and Rephesh..as needed. (My OB/GYN)gave me more free samples!

I found out my cultures didnt come back to good,My HPV cells werent normal.They have to send them out again..and I will know Fri. IF I need a Coloscopy again.Ive had abnormal cells twice before, but right after I gave birth..But I didnt give birth this time.Im kina scared.
