Okay, here's a question no one has probably ever asked before-at least not that I've seen on this Board.
I am on Advair 500/50 and a nebulizer for Duoneb and albuterol. Last night, I developed a severe sore throat concentrated on my right tonsil, with some small white dots. It hurts to swallow, to eat, to talk, on the right side. Is this some type of oral thrush caused by my asthma meds, or is is more likely strep throat or tonsilitis? I am open to all advice and opinions. If it's strep or tonsilitis, I will have to get into an urgent clinic this weekend, since my doc doesn't re-open his office til Wednesday. Thank you.
