In 2001 I had a stent in my LAD, prior to that I was continuosly getting Aura migraines which stopped after the stent was in. However lately the migraine have started again. I was told that they may be associated with clogged arterys, has anyone ever heard of this?

Hi Norma,
I really don't have any info for you, but wanted to share that my teenage son had his first migraine aura in recovery after his aortic valvoplasty. He rarely gets any headache with them, just the visual distortions, wavy lines, missing areas in his field of vision, etc. The cardiologist and anesthesiologist didn't think they were related to his heart procedure. The neurologist said these were migraines and they might have been triggered by the surgery because it was a stressful event. To us, it seems related to his heart.
I hope you get yours figured out and that you are okay. Please keep us posted.
