Hi, my husband had a stent placed in his heart in February, and also 2 stents in his left leg, and one in his right leg, at or slightly above knee level. To get to the point, we were in a Cabela's store last Sunday, and he was bent down looking at something on a lower shelf, whenhe stood up he felt a "pop",behind the right knee area, and then his lower leg started to cramp, and his foot has been basically asleep ever since. We called the cardiologist and his tests confirm that something happened, the technician that did the doppler said that he has heard of stents kinking, and causing blockage again, while his cardiologist says that is rare, the doppler and ultra sound showed some reblocking at the bottom of the stent. He is scheduled to have an angioplasty done on Monday, or whatever they can do to reopen it up. Has anybody heard of stents kinking and reblocking? Thanks.
