for me, not having any neuroma symptoms. its just kind of one dime is there under my foot where probably nueroma could be seen. no specificpain while sleeping, during day/especially night. when i lift up my leg pain feeling over that dime.

the same kind of of problem arised four months back, and i have been to doctor. at time i had severe pain when i lift up my leg. unlike last time this time when compared , a little less pain sensation when i lift up leg to walk.

this is only one that proves its neuroma, while there are number of other symptoms: doc sqeezed toes where i had pain, he showed gap between toes and said if there is neuroma, we see that gap. he didnt know what it was either. to say he compromized saying its neuroma.

in my first visit he shot the steroid and in my second visit he found the above.

So this is definitely no neuroma as there is no lock sound or severe pain???????? as my doctor said????

i did work outs so hard in gym till this second incident starting last two months/. is this weaken the foot nerves!!?.

if this is neuroma, no stabbing pain no any symptoms that are similar to those of neuromas.

do anyone know what might this be!

all right, i put it this way. completely ignore before post. can anyone please answer to below what i write? just this one. not before post. its for some knowledge if anyone like me read the message.

heavy problem like there is something heavy feeling under the foot at the spot where neuromas could be seen, and when i lift up leg to walq, its letting me lnow thats thre is some dis order through little pain. for my foot i felt it four months back. doctor said nothing to worry about.

at time only he said it was neuroma for my second foot. but same kind of feeling for first foot.

so l happened to left first foot un treated. after this i hit gym and did work outs real hard as i already used to them, and played basket ball as i happened to shoot the ball into hoop in very less time without more and more trails. so, now is the time to say what i want to.

this shown effect on nerves?

now again the problem started for the first foot which it was cured with tennis shoe then. it healed for all these days. now what should i do? if i wear tennis shoe for 24/7 its providing me relief.

do i need to see the doctor or just wearing these shoes for a while like 3,4 months rectifies the problem? i directly can go to doctor and may ask these questions, but last time when i saw him, for him also it was miserable.;). he said to leave it, wher e he treated for the same kind of symptoms for second foot by giving some steroid.

i wonder this is only one case from mine to him? hasnt he studied about this anywhere!

is this anything that relate to nerves?!. so, i am thinking of seeing in between doctors neurorologist and podiatrist.

through the messages that were posted in these message boards i found out that mine may not be related to neuromas. hoping that this post also helpfull to someone....i havent erased my previous post.

my final question is, is this neuroma?

if i leave this, is this lead to any lifelong problem!!? who is the doctor that is right for this case? podiatrist or neurologist/?

not knowing what doctor to see, where he dont understand it either.

You should see an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine for the feet.

Sports medicine doctors work with athletes...sports players....football, basketball, etc.

You could try doing some toe raises - stand on both feet facing a wall and putting both hands flat on the wall for balance. Then you raise up, so you are standing on your tip toes. You can start doing it on both feet at once and then switch and do one foot at a time.
You can also strengthen your toes by laying a towel or rag flat on the floor and then placing your foot flat on top of the towel. Try to scrunch up the towel by scrunching up your toes.
Balancing on one foot for ten seconds at a time should help.
That is all I can really think of right now I have not ever really focused on the foot. Most of my injuries have to do with my ankle or my toe.
Please let us know if any of these help.
Good luck!

Well, I have to admit, I must have misunderstood your previous posts. I am finding it difficult to understand exactly what happened to you and exactly what it is you are looking for or what it is you are asking, so I apologize for not giving you better advice or information.

I thought you were saying you need to strengthen your foot. Outside of doing some sort of exercise I don't have any idea how you make your feet stronger. Honestly, I have never had to work on strengthening my feet. My injuries have always been to my ankle or my toe.

I realize I might not have given you the specific solution you were looking for, but I noticed it had been a few days since you had asked your question after Tichtou had responded, so I thought I would at least try to give you a little bit of help.

I have read all of your posts on this thread and others that you have written. I am trying hard to understand what you are trying to say, so I may have misunderstood the question or what has happened to you to bring you to this board. I apologize. I don't mean to offend you, but I am not able to understand.

I wish you the best of luck!
