what is full recovery chances for a shattered heel

On here there is someone that runs and is almost completely normal after 2 years. I am 7 months in and I have made some real progress and now walk with some limp at the end of the day but no longer use a cane. I had a shattered heel with 10 pins and a plate and had an infection at 2 months but worked through it and continue therapy on my own after 2 1/2 months of seeing a therapist. I won't lie there are dark days but considering the alternative it is ok. Put in the work and I bet most of us will make it.
