After YAG surgery last month, I have considerably more glare & starbursts from street lights and the oncoming cars. Does anyone know why this happens and how to get rid of it? Help, please.

What kind of implants to you have (crystalens, ReStor, etc.)? Sara5678 12-31-2007, 09:38 AM Serious Person, They got worse. I got the Allergan AMO* implants back in 2000. What do you think? Is there anything that can be done to help with the annoying night time glare and halos? I have a follow-up appointment with the Ophthalmologist in 2 months. Thanks for your help. seriousperson 01-03-2008, 12:00 AM That's odd that the YAG made the glare worse. It's supposed to improve those symptoms. I have a lot of halos and glare (night driving is tense) but haven't had the YAG. Let us know what the ophthalmologist says. |
