a lot ofpeople around me say I have OCD in this case, and I am starting to think so as well

i seriously have a gigantic forehead, very long and large like tyra banks meets rihanna meets will artnett and it is ALL i think about.

everytime I see someone I look at the size of their forehead first thing in envy, and spend so much time touching mine trying to figure out how to minmiize it. cant grow bangs or anythign (im a guy and i also have short terrible hair that doesnt go like that) and i dont know what to do

i am obsessed with this thought i have a huge forehead....and my family/friends say it slike ocd and they are sick of me talking about it!? what do i do!! i feel so weird

Brave-

It doesn't really sound like you have OCD, but it sounds more like you're just very self conscious about the size of your forhead. OCD would be more like if you starred at your forehead for hours a day in the mirror and it disrupted your daily life or you found it to be very distressing and started missing work or social acitivites.

All of us here, and even those people that don't have OCD, all have things about our bodies that we wished we could change. A mole here or there, loosing 5 or 10 pounds, etc. If it really bothers you that much and you feel you just can't stop thinking about it, maybe talk to a therapist and see how they feel you should deal with the thoughts about your forehead.:D

I agree..

Everyone with or without OCD don't like a certain part of our bodies..It's called being "human". To be honest I don't like my toosh or hips, which most women don't..But I don't obsess about it..

Most people here that understand me, know about my fear of germs and diseases. Ok. so, I don't like how my toosh looks, but I do care about where I put it..lol...If I sit on a bench, bleachers, or public chair, I have to sit on my coat or I bring a small blanket with me to sit on..

If you obsess about your forehead, hide it with hats, can't be in public, can't join in conversations, or become house bound, then I would say it's more then a self esteem issue..

It doesn't sound like OCD to me, but, you could have some type of body dysmorphia. I mean, is your forehead really that big? Tyra Banks DOES have a big forehead, but it doesn't stop her from being beautiful. If the people around you (who can actually see your forehead) don't think you should be bothered by it, maybe you should pursue the issue with a therapist.

Im sorry you feel this way :( its awful to feel self conscious about a certain part of your body!! That is the worst. You know i think maybe you are just insecure about it, and it causes you to obsess over it. You may need someone to talk to about this, someone who will listed. But i dont think it is OCD. Hope you feel better :)
