im still trying to sort out what wrong with me
i have had bowel problems for a while now constipation mainly but when i go i go lots and when i get bad i go more and when i was really bad i would vomit up from my stomach. i have lots of health issues going on. but il stick to the ones relevant to this board.
i have had an anl fistula up my back passage which healed with some ointment.also an anal tag. my bowels annoy me daily. gurglingespecially on the right hand bit and the left side by my rib. then two weeks ago i had would can only be explined as.. i woke up and a torpedo pile of diareeah literally shot out of me..it was smelly and then before i could make it to the bathroom another one landed. it seemed to be an intire build up of waste. i thought it was something neurologial as i have some neuro problems but not so sure- any ideas.also this pain i get in my it seems to be my stomach.
i have dropped weight i used to be a size 10 and then went to size 8 and never regained. and this is when the story gets more complex i was getting really really ill and ended up in hospital i couldnt walk eat or get to the bathroom i kept kind of drifting out of it. in two weeks i had lost two stone. i got the doc who insisted i was fine at six and half stone and actually collapsing from the malnutrition. to do a tb test on me and it turned positive highly positive so i was put on tb antibiotics and have done about sixth months now and feel awful!! the gastro was not helpful to me and the tb doctor said he couldn't explain my othersymptons. they were never able to culture the tb. anyhowi went from six to eight stone but stopped putting on weight after that and then i would drop down a bit just like i used too. i eat well, evryone thinks im anorexic. when i had the tb diagnosis they kept asking me and i said no i want to be fat!
i am still deficient in iron folate b12 and vitimain d! my joints hurt i got mouth ulcers. and some neuro and other things that may not be relevant.
Seconly and this concerns abnormal connections i am wondering about. i have
e coli urine infection nearly evy month its always that and its a bowel contaminant and my gp has just informed me they found coliformin my sputum!! im wondering wether some abnormal connections going on this is just not normal. the tb antibiotics havemade me feel like hell .However i was given some antifungals for my thraot and groin and my symptons are alittle better. i was on mesasalazine for a whilewhich did help but i had a couple of worse flare ups on them with pain in my upper stomach. i even goterythro nodusm taking them once and a problem with tadpole flaoters in my eye so i got put of taking them. i have had occult blood in my faeces a couple of times. the pain in my stomachalways by the left rib when its bad likes somethings blocking i dunno.
i had a colonoscopy which showed gastrtitis in large intestine i was given that anti gas stuff for it but doesn't help at all. i had another colonoscopy beforei dont think it showed chrons but there was stricture my the liver. i have had an inflamed liver and highcolestral .this fungal stuff has helped recently but the tb antibiotics defianetly have not. i wonder tooif i have athyroid problem as had chnges to my facial appearance and how that might effect the bowel. anyhow i saw a knew gastroenterologist recently and he knows ive been tested but still think chrons among other things is a possibility even when other gastros ruled it out. its abit complicated. i also have sticky blood and my rheumie suggested this maybe because you can get clots in chrons- i have a clot in my leg before. i aslo had hypoadrenalism but the last test showed it wasok. i felt beter on the mesasalizine short term and antifungals than all the other horrible stuff. i meery go round between autoimmune illness and infectios diseases its crazy and life is hell.
any ideas about my symptons? or what i should ask the gastro.
