About three nights ago, I woke up in the middle of the night. I remember feeling my eyelids fluttering and waking up and the room was spinning. I was finally able to back to sleep, but when I got up in the morning I was still dizzy. I havn't been feeling exactly energetic, but I am up and around. I still feel dizzy off and on throughout the days. I am taking some anti-depressents, but the perscription hasn't changed much in three years. Any ideas where I can start as far as feeling better?
The usual route is GP for blood work -> ENT for hearing tests, ear exam -> neurologist for MRI -> neurotologist for vertigo/dizziness.
Is your vertigo worse when you're lying on one side?

i know how scary it is to wake up with the room spinning. i changed my mattress and pillow so that i can get my head in the right position, i also found not laying flat has helped a great deal. as for getting better my advice is to take 1 day at a time. enjoy the good days when they come but don't over do it. hope this helps
