Hi, I'm 26 and I am in the process of changing my primary care. My doctor does not address my women's health care conserns. The doctors office said that if I transfered that the women'health clinic would not fill my prescriptions since they will only address my "women's health care consern"s. I can't see why they would not, and I think my doctor office is using some kind of scare tactic to keep me from leaving. I am currently taking Metformin for Insulin resistance, Synthroid for Hypoactive thyroid, and Micards HCT (1/2 dose) for blood pressure which also seems to help with water weight issues to a point.

My doctor has suggested I may have PCOS but has never followed up with any testing, and ignores my complaints and basically tells me to live with it.

I have gained 30 pounds in the last year, and he just tells me I need to loose weight.I lost alot of weight about 2 years ago after going low carb for a while, but I have gained it all back.

I have an appointment monday at the women's health clinic they will be running a test to check for PCOS also they will be checking my breast as I have a lump of consern that appears to be a cyst, I have breast pain accosiated with my cycle and cold weather, if I take an NSAID the pain goes away.

I also suffer from depression, and I sleep alot, even though I find sleep difficult as my arms and side go numb. I wake up 4-5 times to pee, I can't breath my lymph nodes in my throat swell up in my sleep I have to sleep with cold air blowoing on me, and sometimes I wake up and take a cold shower to reduse the swelling around my neck and throat.

My doctor follows up with all the regular blood tests for my thyroid and Hemoglobin A1c and they always come back normal. It is extreamly flustrating. I am nervous, and also anxious about mondays appointment. I am hoping to finally get some answers, it's been a long battle.
