dose anyone know if autism comes under mental health as it is a cognative brain disorder i assumed it would but in a disagreament with the head of my sons mainstream school she informed me as i was most definatly wrong dose any one know for sure thanks caza

Hi, my child is Autistic and all her health professionals class it as a mental health problem. I'm in England. I gather other people have other ideas as to what autism comes under. Hope this helps.

hi cazajacks im also in england and yes that helps people do have lots of other ideas not enoughf is known about autism there are so many conflicting ideas it dose your head in at times thanks for the reply the head at school has become an expert on autistm over night and she really is bugging me take care caza
