when to take a baby to doctor for chest colds

I am one that if I even question whether or not I should bring my child to the doctor I bring her. I would rather be told it is nothing then have her be really sick and do nothing. I hope your baby is okay.

I normally keep a close listen to her chest/breathing. If I think she is becoming raspy sounding, then I call. If it's a runny nose and light coughing, I don't worry. ...but it's whatever makes you comfortable - when in doubt, call the doc.
