I think I am obsessed with cleanliness of the backside after doing number two.

I always run a wad of toilet paper under the tap before wiping.

Sometimes I use an entire roll just to ensure I am completely clean.

Is this abnormal or obsessive?

Nothing wrong with wanting to be clean.

A whole roll is excessive, however.

My dermatologist recommends getting a roll of Bounty microwaveable paper towels then tearing one towel in half and wetting the half. That's enough. I don't know why he recommended that particular brand. The texture I suppose.

Why don't you just get a package of bathroom wipes? There are many different brands that my family has used for years... they are not baby wipes... Look for them near the paper towels in your grocery store, Target, or WalMart. I don't think there's anything strange about wanting to clean yourself after a bowel movement. Sometimes toilet paper just doesn't do the job! ;)

It may be obsessive, but I have the same tendencies as well.

Though I am trying not to use as much TP as I used to because I had a problem with clogging the toilet.
